Sam's Town Prepares For Weekend Thunder When NASCAR Returns To Las Vegas

Boyd Gaming Corporation's Sam's Town Hotel & Gambling Hall will welcome an action-packed weekend as NASCAR's exciting world returns to Las Vegas in the early spring.

Action-packed weekends include a concert by rising country music star Chris Chitsey and the fifth annual NASCAR Drivers Auction, which features a special appearance from the USAF Thunderbirds aerial demonstration team. Held on Thursday, Feb. 27, the Driver Auction is the single largest fundraiser for Speedway Children's Charities' Las Vegas branch.

The Driver Auction will once again take place at Sam's Town Live!, an 1,100-seat entertainment complex at Sam's Town Hotel & Gambling Hall. Many of the NASCAR Winston Cup and Bush Series drivers are expected to participate in charity events that include both live and silent auctions once again. Last year, more than 20 Winston Cup and Bush Series drivers made their own appearances, raising more than $89,000 for local children. 온라인카지노사이트

This event offers a rare opportunity for fans to bid for a chance to meet their favorite Winston Cup drivers during driver introductory time. The winner will then board an open convertible during the pre-race parade lap ahead of the UAW-Daimler Chrysler 400 on Sunday, March 2. The winners of the Bush Series competitors will have the chance to meet the drivers in the pit area before the Sam's Town 300 starts on Saturday, March 1.

The doors open at 4:30 p.m. and the concert begins at 5 p.m. After the 6 p.m. concert, the auction will take place. Tickets cost $35 to benefit Speedway Children's Charities and are now available online at www.tickets.com . Tickets can also be purchased at Sam's Town Live! Box Office on the day of the auction.

Saturday, Mar. 1, the Race Day festival ends with "After Race Party" with country music stars Ricochet and Mustang Sally performing at Sam's Town Live!.
